Al-Simah is another great musicians from Sanaa; unfortunately I have no information about him.
All I can say is that he's a very good singer with a powerful 'ud playing. As usual he's backed by several percussions. If somebody can get translation of the titles or some information about him...

ReplyDeletea short bio : Ali Abdullah Al-Sama is a Yemeni singer , songwriter and composer . He was born in 1935 in Old Sana'a , grew up and studied there. He worked at the beginning of his life in the leadership of cargo carriers, then he emigrated to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in search of work, then returned to Yemen and joined the ranks of the armed forces. He obtained a master 's degree in military sciences from the Soviet Union , and studied music at the Higher Institute of Music in Aden . He worked on Radio Sanaa and then on Radio Taiz . The poet is one of the generation of Yemeni heritage revivalists. He wrote emotional, patriotic and social poems. He dealt with many Yemeni poets.
