I'm glad to give access to some parts of my collection about music from (almost) everywhere.
I selected LPs and tapes that have not been reissued yet or are not digitally available from the original labels (as far as I know).
Some of these can be found on Youtube but I hope the sound quality is better here as well as the information about them.
There
are a lot of recordings in the field (Europe, Asia, Americas, Africa).
You'll find also studio recordings of regional/national music. Some
revivalist bands are presented as well.
I'll probably put on line some early and baroque music later on.
For the time being I include albums and tapes randomly and I'l organise them later if possible.
Hope you'll find what you are looking for !
Born in 1956, I've been collecting LPs and tapes from an early age. As an amateur musician, I've always been fascinated by the diversity of cultures and musical traditions throughout the world. Some of the records I own have never been reissued and don't figure on the very good blogs I'm following at the moment. The purpose of this blog is to bring these wonderful recordings back to life again but most of these records and some of the tapes are available on Discogs, Groovecollector, cdandlps, ... if you want to buy them.
